About the Cafe

In 1971, the U-M Board of Regents officially changed the name of the institution from Flint College to the University of Michigan-Flint. That same year, University of Michigan President Robben Fleming appointed the first Chancellor of the University of Michigan-Flint, William E. Moran. The full name of this campus building is the Harding Mott University Center. C.S. Harding Mott is the son of Charles Stewart Mott and helped build the Mott Foundation together with his father.

Picasso joined the University of Michigan Flint team in 2018. Working with University architects, the cafeteria space went under major renovations. Changing the whole dining area into a micro restaurant eatery and a space promoting collaborations with student groups and faculty. The cafeteria offers options for breakfast, lunch, and early dinner.
